Our company, Gert Strand AB, started 1974 and has still the same owner.

In the beginning we sold essences from around the world, Noirot in France, Ellinger in Austria, Willumsens in Denmark, Saturnus in Sweden, Storm, Kryddo etc. from Norway. Gert Strand then started to develop essences based on a idea and a vision to make the highest quality possible based on natural or nature identical ingredients. This resulted in that Scandinavia become the worlds lagest market for essences, market increased from 200000 bottles a year to over 2000000, 10 times.

A lot of inventions was made in this time, for example the first Turbo yeast in the world. And still no one deliver better Turbo Yeast. We supply the same yeast to distilleries that we do to home brewers. Pro quality only.

Order Handling, Policy, Quality
The goal of Gert Strand AB is to sell the best products available on a worldwide basis, while giving high quality service.

We will handle all complaints and bring them to a satisfactory conclusion. If we ever get complaints from any public consumer organization, we will follow their recommendations, in all countries.

All items are kept in stock 99% of the time. When we receive your order, we usually pack it within 24 hours, and also send you an E-mail giving shipment details. If we have a very large order, we pack and ship first, and send the E-mail notification after shipping your order. Thus, on large orders, there may be a few days’ delay of E-mail.

Credit card payment is handled by 3rd party specialized companies with highest security. Gert Strand AB does not have access to your credit card number. All payments are made on secure servers. Incidentally, our policy is to never give away any information about our customers.
